Connect your Phone – PC and Phone share single internet connection
Your phone and PC are able to share a single internet connection. In many cases, only one internet cable runs to each desktop and it is not practical to run a second cable.
The downside to this configuration is an additional cable running into the phone, and a brief loss of internet to the PC if the phone needs to rebooted for any reason.
- Disconnect the network cable from your PC and connect to the ‘Internet’ jack on the back of your phone
- Connect from the ‘PC’ jack on the phone to the ethernet connection on your PC
- Yourphoneispoweredbythenetwork. It should boot up as soon as connected.
- Rebooting yourphonemay cut the internet to your PC briefly
