How to Reset Polycom Phones

When migrating to our UC system, you may  be asked to reset your Polycom phones:

  1. Menu -> Settings -> Advanced :  enter PIn that will be supplied by technical support
  2. Admin Settings -> Network Configuration
 
 

Select Prov Server:

    1. Do not change DHCP Menu.  Use arrow key to go down
    2. Server type:   Use left/right arrows until shows HTTP.  Click OK
    3. Server address:  Edit.  Press the X button to clear any entry that is already there.
      1. Put the keypad in lower case mode by pressing the key 1/A/a.  You will see “a/Ascii” at the top. 
      2. Using the keypad, enter  http://sipcfg.io/cfg   (Tip:  For the “:” , press “#” twice.  For “/”, press “#” three times, for the “.”, press “*”.  If you make an error, press the X key to go back a character.)  Press OK.
    4. Go down to Server User:  Edit.  Use the X key to delete any entry.  Press OK.

  1. Back -> Back -> Save Config

Now power cycle the phone and it will pick up the new settings
