SIP Trunk FAQ

In most cases, no.  Incoming calls to Canadian and US numbers, and outbound calls in North America are included.   The only additional charges would be if you have a toll free number, or make international calls (including Hawaii, Alaska and NWT/Yukon).

Yes.  You can have as many numbers as you need sharing the same group of channels on your SIP Trunk.  Numbers can be added in almost any city across Canada and the US.  You can also add toll free numbers.

We can make your SIP trunk burstable as an option.  What this means is that you can exceed your maximum number of calls (channels) by 1-2 channels  from time to time.

Invoices are sent on the first day of the month for that month.  This would include any per minute charges for the previous month,  Payment is by credit card.

Yes.  We offer international calling at competitive rates.  A deposit is required.

No.  We specialise in servicing Canadian businesses.

Yes.  We can help you set them up.

We support 3CX Small Business/Startup and Enterprise.

We are required by the CRTC to provide 911 service.  911 service for one number is included with each SIP trunk.

VoIP technology offers 911 service which differs from the traditional 911 services on landlines. We maintain your physical address in our system. 911 emergency calls are routed to a national call centre where callers are asked to confirm the physical address on file before being transferred to the closest emergency access point. This process will take more time than calling from a traditional landline where the location is already known.

If you have multiple locations, we can add 911 service to several numbers, each mapped to a different physical address.
